Ontario's Ultimate Wine
Ontario’s Ultimate Wine is a fully blind, single-elimination competition designed to answer one simple question: what is the best wine being made in Ontario?
Rather than dividing wines into categories or awarding dozens of medals, every wine entered: red, white, sparkling, rosé, orange or Icewine - is placed into one bracket and judged head-to-head until only one remains.
Two Guys Talking Wine co-hosts Michael Pinkus and André Proulx make the calls, with legendary Canadian wine writer Tony Aspler serving as guest for 2026. Each winery gets just one entry, making every bottle count on the road to crowning a single Ontario’s Ultimate Wine champion.
